The versatile e-Business component allows organizations to manage traditional and eLearning business activities. Administrators can define catalogue items, group them into “Packages”, set dynamic price offerings based on flexible business rules which account for multiple pricing models and discounts. An individual or buying group’s pricing is calculated dynamically based on the conditions set in “Pricing Matrix”. The Pricing Matrix provides administrators with the ability to easily set pricing rules for different students and student groups. Discounts and Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) can also be set up and applied to any combination of individuals/groups and courses.
Each organization can freely create their own look and feel and branding through sophisticated multi-language content management and user-configurable “Skins”. XML integration with corporate web sites allow a unified user experience and the creation of web services to maintain training calendars and/or catalogues.
Acting as an e-Commerce enabled Point of Sale system; the e-Business Management component easily handles B2C and B2B transactions with full audit trails and accounting system integration. The system allows the user to specify General Leger accounts for all revenue items, international tax codes, payments and adjustments, coupons and discounts on all types of transactions.
Credit card payments use industry-standard 128bit data encryption and can be tailored to any merchant account and payment service (e.g. VeriSign®).
Bulk sales of any catalogue item (e-courses, classroom, virtual classroom, correspondence, merchandise) are handled by a unique internal currency system called “Tokens”. For example, a corporate customer can purchase multiple Tokens (permissions to take a course), and the system will keep track of all student enrollments and adjust Token inventory automatically.
Marketing departments will love the system’s ability to match almost any conceivable marketing initiative with multiple languages, profit sharing, authorization code based preferential pricing, selling of preferred packages (pricing models tailored to specific clients), pricing based on professional designation, etc.
Powerful reporting options include the ability to build any XML-based custom report and export through Olé’s™ integration with Crystal Reports®.
Standard reporting options include financial tracking, sales, payments and adjustments, customer profiles and revenue by GL account. All information can be easily exported to other systems for accounting or other purposes.
