George Uhrich has a rich history in technology-based training. His companies have designed eLearning initiatives for some of the world's largest aerospace organizations: Boeing, Air Canada, Bombardier, NATO, the Canadian Air Force. From his roots in content creation and production, to his current role as VTN Technologies Inc.'s President and CEO, Mr. Uhrich's ability to cut through the hype and design practical solutions using advanced technology is setting an impressive record of achievement. Recently, working with other thought leaders at the Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC), George is co-authoring an AICC paper on instructional design with learning objects.
George's vision for VTN is based on a solid foundation of a superior quality product, value-added service, attention to detail and diligent cost controls.

Lyle Emmott
Director Learning Technology
Lyle has over 20 years experience in instructional design, leadership, and development of user-centered software, web applications, and e-Learning using a variety learning technologies and multimedia or web-based development tools. Lyle's exemplary skills in instructional design and e-Learning development have allowed him to establish innovative learning initiatives for both corporate and educational organizations. Lyle holds a M.A. (Educational Technology) with Concordia University in Montreal, a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, as well as a Teaching Certificate in Alberta. Lyle has published numerous papers on instructional design and technology-based learning and has won many awards for his e-Learning products.
Lyle's mandate is to ensure that both the instructor's and the learner's needs are considered at all times in the design and delivery of VTN's products and services.

Stephen Brown
Vice President - Software Development
Stephen attended the DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Computer Sciences. A voracious learner, Stephen has mastered nearly all of the industry's database, software, and multimedia authoring tools as well as the newest Internet technologies.
Before joining VTN, Stephen was the Senior Programmer at Vicom Multimedia Inc. for nearly 6 years. While at Vicom, he was responsible for multimedia and internal application development. He also had a role in project management and support, and the creation of Vicom's authoring systems - most notably, as part of the development and design team for Vicom's Nereus™ (now iKnowledgeInc.com) system, and the primary designer and developer for Vicom's SafeTDisc™ engine, which dynamically built courses from database and media files, reducing authoring time from months to hours.
